Combining the lightweight, high performance engineering of approach shoes and the wearability of old school court shoes, the Ghostwing platform brings elite performance to every adventure.

The TRS launch edition features a custom engineered 200 denier ripstop nylon, reinforced with a breathable scrim and lasered with our signature topo pattern.

UNRELENTING TRACTION

Ghostwing's 3D outsole features Vibram Megagrip, a high performance rubber compound featuring unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability. The anti-clog lug profile has been developed to self-clean and expel dirt and mud.

MAXIMUM AGILITY

The aggressive top line of the collar drops dramatically over the Achilles tendon, allowing unrestricted movement in toe-down angles. An internal heel counter is mirrored externally with sintered rubber for exceptional stability and protection. A matte, microfiber synthetic suede lining throughout reduces friction and distributes heat.

CLIMATE CONTROL

Fully molded to the last, the open-cell PU foam footbed is 95% breathable. This allows air to circulate in and around the insole, keeping your foot cooler inside the shoe and reducing drying time. The footbed is fully machine washable, and will not distort or lose its properties after washing. The footbed also has an extremely low compression-set, resulting in very little loss of resiliency over its lifespan.

TORSIONAL SECURITY

Braided nylon laces move smoothly through concealed ghillies, distributing pressure evenly. The tongue and quarters are built around a custom developed open-cell foam, reducing the overall thickness of the upper and tongue while retaining rigidity. A welded PU-film reinforcement surrounding the eye-row and tongue secures the stitching of the lace ghillies.

STEALTH MODE

Every surface and material was considered and developed with non-reflective properties. The matte PVD speedlace features a machined ball bearing which rolls while engaging, reducing pull-friction, and even the aglets were engineered in a non-reflecting finish.

RELIABLE COMPANION

An integrated nylon webbing loop aides entry/removal and also doubles as a hang loop for securing wet or muddy shoes outside your pack.

DESIGN NOTE:

There was a slight design change that went into affect during the manufacturing process. The original heat treated Triple Aught Design logo on the tongue was simply not meeting our design or quality standards, so we upgraded the tongue design to include a metal ranger eye with the tad logo laser engraved on it. The ranger eye is attached via a webbing strip on the tongue. The end result came out exceptional.

Combat and chimera colors will feature a matte color matched pu-film reinforcement surrounding the eye-row and on the tongue instead of the gloss film shown. Reference black and gunship for examples.
