Short Description
The MOD Side Saddles are a next-generation chest rig expansion system, delivering increased load-carrying capacity, improved stability, and enhanced comfort. Built around First Spear Tubes® for rapid don/doff and constructed from rigid Curv® thermoplastic, each saddle provides 4-columns and 6-rows of 1” MOLLE field for secure mounting of mission-essential equipment (laser cut MOLLE, adjustable in 1/2" increments).
Adjustable harness attachment points allow users to fine-tune the fit and angle, while integrated thermoformed padding improves comfort and reduces pressure points and hot spots during extended wear.
Placard Compatibility: MOD Side Saddles are directly compatible with any Tubes® compatible placard, no additional hardware required (Heavy Placard, MOD Placard, MOD Plus Placard, Spiritus Systems® Mk6, Shaw Concepts® ARC V4). Placards without Tubes® compatibility require the First Spear Tube Chest Rig Adapter (sold separately).
Harness Compatibility: MOD Side Saddles are directly compatible with nearly every 1” webbing chest rig harness (MOD Harness, H Harness, X Harness).
