The AR 15 magazine lock serves as protection against theft and misuse of the weapon. Inability to fire is immediately guaranteed and evident after insertion into the weapon. In addition, the weapon is prevented from being dismantled with the lock in place, as the security device is inserted in the cocked state. Good Idea
I think the product overall is a good buy. It is not the ultimate high tech security device but in conjunction with other locking device will definitely throw a monkey wrench into someone’s plans to gain access and use your weapon. I have coupled this with a ScottLock and motorcycle chain.
