The most modular, rugged, durable, reliable and most widely used aftermarket optics adapter plate. Period! Paragraph!!
Most C&H Precision plates feature a patented stainless steel T-Nut which provide an industry leading six to seven threads of engagement. Since all the mounting hardware is replaceable, if any mounting hardware is damaged it can be replaced without replacing the entire plate.
Specifications:
- Thickness: V4 MIL / LEO Plates are .095″ to .099″ thick
- Material: Plates are made from 3D printed polymer. All mounting hardware is Stainless Steel
- Finish: Plates are MIL-SPEC Type III Hard Anodized – Black
- Replaceable 416 Stainless Steel T-Posts for maximum thread engagement
Included:

Instalation:
Install mounting plate on slide and tighten the m3 screws untill they make contact with plate. Then tighten 1/4 turn only!
Install the red dot on the plate and torque the 4-40 screws to 10 in/lbs using a torque wrench or limiter.
* The Defender was not made for the G40, however, many customers have purchased the Defender and made a small modification that allowed it to work extremely well with the G40.
*Defender plates partially wrap the top of the slide and do not fit large frame Glock pistols, I.E. G21 and all pistols of similar width.
