A diagram of the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) used in the Apollo missions. To this day, it remains the only manned vehicle to land anywhere beyond the Earth.
While the CSM was responsible for getting the heros home, the LEM gets the credit for carrying the astronauts of the Apollo 11 to and from mankind's first steps on the Moon.
