This Swiss-made Point Man watch addresses the needs of military personnel for analog watches that can also be used as simple and efficient navigation tools on the ground. As a special feature the Point Man watch can be used to determine bearings whenever the sun is visible, and it also offers a tachymeter scaled to measure walking speeds. The graduated turning bezel and the contrast-color countdown quadrant of the dial can be used to time maneuvers. The bezel's compass rose helps to establish the wearer's position. Luminox 8822.MI Recon watch is powered by an accurate Swiss Ronda 515 movement encased in a 46mm wide by 13mm thick black carbon reinforced case. It features a date display, luminous hands and markers, scratch resistant sapphire crystal, 200 meter water resistant, and is equipped with a 23mm wide rubber strap with buckle clasp.
