COLD WX JACKET SV GEN 1.4 MEN'S

For active tasks in Polar environments the Cold WX hooded jacket provides maximum thermal regulation in the most challenging temperatures. A relaxed fit accommodates layers underneath without binding and the hip length provides solid, reliable coverage from snow and arctic winds.Using a new GORE-TEX™ INFINIUM fabric, this durable 2 layer laminate delivers durable windproof performance and high resistance to rain and snow. Two layers of Climashield insulation, including premium Thermatek continuous, non quilted construction, eliminates cold spots entirely. Patterned for high air permeability, the jacket maintains LEAF's strict requirements to support a wearer's comfort in high output situations.

  • Centerline dual zip closure permits easy on/off over equipment

Cuff & Sleeves Configuration

  • Arm cuff Velcro® closures has glove interface sleeve to provide full enclosure with gauntlet style glove

Hem Configuration

  • Drawcord hem closure vertically routed drawcord with enclosure mitigates snags

Pocket Configuration

  • Insulated zip lower torso pockets act as hand warming pockets when not wearing gloves
  • Upper arm zip pockets accessible when wearing LCE
  • Internal flat stash mesh pockets for storage of apparel accessories or sustainment items
  • Internal flat stash radio mesh pockets allowing for the carriage of either a AN/PRC-148 or AN/PRC-152 handheld radio
  • Insulated zip chest pockets allowing for the compartmentalization of mission essential personal items

Logos & Label Configuration

  • 4x4.5 Velcro® Upper Arm identification patches with VLite™ retention ring allowing for the application of IFF markings/devices
